The only reason craven wings is getting this five-star review is due to the bartender waitress we had upon our third visit. It was Christmas time and she was wearing a grinch costume that I'm sure she was boiling up in because they were short-staffed and she was running herself. Ragged. There was no manager on site and they definitely needed help. The food took a long time, we had to wait for drinks but, our server was completely amazing. We didn't have a bad time because of her. We didn't want to complain because of her. In my opinion she is manager material. She is the kind of employee that you'd want to retain and reward because she's going to be the one that brings you repeat business.
After reading the mixed reviews on this place we were a bit hesitant to go. However, it's hard to find "good" wings so we thought it was worth a try. Have to say I disagree with most of the negative reviews. We found this place welcoming and the staff very hospitable. It was mid-afternoon and were surprised to see so many customers there. We were sat right away by the bartender and our waitress was prompt with coming for our drink order. We started with sampler app and found all three items to be well-cooked and seasoned nicely! The spicy cheese curds were just that but the nice kind of spice that hits in the back of the throat after a few seconds. Liked the vreading on the pickles, it was thick and held really good. The only disappointment with the jalapeno poppers was that there were only three, think a 4th one would have made it perfectly balanced...but just my humble opinion! The waitress was very helpful in offering advice about the wing sauces. We ordered both boneless and traditional. While I'm a sucker for traditional I found the boneless a much better value. Was a bit confused on only getting one sauce for each of our order. Menu says one sauce per 5 wings and our orders were for 6 wings each...? Luckily there was a sauce provided on the table that we were also able to experience. Felt the sauces were fairly well-balanced for their heat levels and the wings were all cooked perfectly. Overall, these wings and the experience did not disappoint and we plan to go back to see if they can continue to hold up to the bar we've now set for them!
CJ is a fantastic server and made my wife and I’s day with his fantastic service! The manager is awesome and looked after us too. The food is amazing and there was plenty for a great price. Thanks y’all for giving us a wonderful experience!
I recently visited Craven Wings Choto and had an overall great experience. The service was quick and friendly, with the staff being attentive and accommodating. I tried the 6 boneless wings and fries and was impressed by the perfect balance of crispy texture and the unique, bold flavors of Sauce 87. The atmosphere was laid-back and casual, ideal for grabbing a bite with friends. Overall, it’s a solid spot for wing lovers, and I’ll definitely be returning for more.
Food was SUPER fresh! Everything was great customer service was excellent! Cool thing was I got waited on by a girl named Krystal! I'm sure I didn't spell it right but that isn't the point. Come to craven wings and enjoy a great experience!
Dang, this chicken is good!!! The service and food was amazing. Haley, our waitress, was beyond courteous. Fried chicken was perfect. Atmospheric atmosphere. Kids menu with crayons? Check. Needless to say, the beer was ice cold. We will be back!
Best wings. Flavors are above and beyond. Best lemon pepper seasoning around. Burgers are really good and a great size. Not super gigantic like other places making difficult to eat. Small 4-5 beer selection. Variety of liquor choices. 5-5 stars in my opinion for weekend vibes. Even mid week for lunch!
